Auto adjust your webcam's brightness level or set to manual if you're experiencing sudden changes in brightness
Microsoft Teams
- Select the 3 dots . . . menu top right
- Select Settings
- Select Devices
- Scroll down to Video Settings
- Under Camera select the webcam you wish to change the settings for
- Integrated Webcam is the laptop's in-built camera
- Use the Adjust brightness toggle to turn auto-brightness on or off
- To adjust your camera settings for all applications, select Open camera settings
- Select Camera Control
- To remove auto-brightness untick Auto for Exposure.
- Adjust any other desired settings.
- Select OK to save.
Zoom
Zoom's low light settings allow you to combat poor lighting conditions during remote video conferences by brightening your video in dark environments.
- In the Zoom desktop client, click your profile picture and then click Settings .
- Click the Video tab.
- Select the Adjust for low light check box.
- By default, the setting will be set to Auto. However, you can select Manual, and adjust the setting to the desired effect.
