      How do I import bookmarks, passwords and browsing history from Google Chrome to Microsoft Edge?

      Disable Import browsing data at each browser launch

      Microsoft Edge can automatically import data from Google Chrome everytime Edge is launched. To stop this from happening:

      1. Open Microsoft Edge
      2. Go to the 3 dot menu (top right)
      3. Settings
      4. Profiles > Import browser data
      5. Under Import browsing data at each browser launch select Edit preferences
      6. Under Import browser data from Google Chrome on each launch select Turn off
      7. Select Confirm
