How to reset the New Outlook app on Windows
Repair and reset the New Outlook app if it is misbehaving
To resolve issues in the New Outlook app like delayed syncing or missing folders try the following steps:
Note: These instructions are for the new version of Outlook.For Outlook Classic see:
- Select the Windows Start button
in the Windows taskbar - Type Settings and open System Settings⚙️
- Select Apps > Installed apps > and search for Outlook
- On Outlook select the ... 3 dots ellipsis > select Advanced options

- Scroll down to Terminate and select Terminate to close the app
- Scroll further down and under Reset select Repair
- Open Outlook again to see if this resolves your issue
- If your issue is not resolved, repeat steps 1-6 then under Reset select Reset

- When reopening Outlook, it will setup your mailbox again. Sign in with your diocesan credentials if required.
