Teams Training: Restarting Teams Apps

Restarting Teams may resolve an issue you have with the programme. Closing the window only hides Microsoft Teams, it does not close it. Follow these instructions to restart Teams.

  1. Right-click the Teams icon in the bottom right of the taskbar. If you don't see it, click the arrow up first to show hidden icons.How to Stop Microsoft Teams from Opening Automatically
  2. Select 'Quit'
  3. Reopen by press the Windows Start button bottom left
  4. Type teams
  5. Select 'Microsoft Teams'
