Adobe Acrobat is freezing when opening and scrolling down PDF files and switching to the application
Fix PDFs in Adobe Acrobat Reader, Pro and DC
- Open Adobe Acrobat
- Go to the Menu top left (3 lines) or select Edit
- Select Preferences
- Under Categories select Security (Enhanced)
- Uncheck Enable Protected Mode at startup
- Select OK
- Close Adobe Acrobat
- Check if the issue has been resolved,
