My Adobe subscription is not recognised even though I am signed in with my correct Adobe ID email address

Adobe business and personal profiles and subscriptions

Adobe subscriptions for Adobe apps such as Acrobat Pro, Create Cloud and Photoshop etc are applied to your Adobe ID business profile.

You may however also have a personal profile under the same email address which does not include subscriptions purchased by the diocese.

To know which profile you're currently using, look at the profile icons:

Troubleshooting your subscription

If your diocesan Adobe subscription is not being recognised:

  1. Open the Adobe Creative Cloud app
    1. If it's not installed, open the Adobe application affected.
  2. Sign out by selecting your profile picture > Sign Out
    Sign out from the account
  3. Sign back in, ensuring your select your business or enterprise profile

Automatically signing in with your business profile

When you sign in, Adobe filters the list of profiles to the most appropriate ones. In case there's only one applicable profile for the app or service you’re trying to sign-in to that profile is chosen automatically.

However, if you have a Personal Profile and one or more Business Profiles, use the Automatic profile selection setting to exclude your Personal Profile during sign-in. So, if you only have one Business Profile, you won't be prompted to select a profile at sign-in.

This setting is turned on, by default, for users with a mix of Personal and Business Profiles. For other users, it's turned off, by default.

To turn automatic profile selection on or off, do the following:

  1. Sign in to your Adobe Account with your email and password.
  2. Go to Account and security > Sign-in and security.
  3. Under Automatic profile selection turn off the Select my profile automatically option.
