# Can I retrieve emails sent to an email address that no longer exists?

- The IT Team can only retrieve emails when the mailbox or alias was active - please raise a support ticket containing as much information about the emails as possible to aid in our search.
- If the mailbox and alias has been removed then emails sent to that address afterwards will bounce back to the sender and there will be no record of them for the IT Team to retrieve.
