Setup: Register for an account
Warning: Once you have registered, an email will be sent to the database administrator, who will then grant you access to the data. Humans always approve access requests, so you will need to allow us time to do this for you within office hours.
Visit https://cofeportal.org/register- Enter First name, Last name and Email (your primary diocesan email address)
- Create a strong password using the password guide
- Tip: Use the Dashlane Password Generator and save the password in your internet browser
- Select I'm not a robot and complete the reCAPTCHA challenge if requested
- Select Register
- An email will be sent for you to verify your account. In the email select Verify Email Address
- Once verified you will be redirected to the login page. Sign in with your newly created credentials.
- Select Remember me to reduce the number of sign ins
Setup: Two-Step Verification
When you first sign in you will be asked to complete Two-Step Verification (MFA) such as entering a code from an authenticator app or email.
- Select Set up Two-Step Verification
- Select your preferred method, App or Email
- On a Mobile: Use the Microsoft Authenticator, Google Authenticator or Dashlane apps
- On a Computer: Use the Oracle Authenticator app or Dashlane apps

- Once you have registered, sign in at https://cms.cofeportal.org
- If you have forgotten your password, visit https://cofeportal.org/forgot-password
- Enter your username, complete the reCAPTCHA and select Request change
