How to set your search engine in Microsoft Edge

Changing your search engine to Google, Bing or other providers


  1. Open Microsoft EdgeEdge-icon
  2. Enter this URL in the address bar:
    edge://settings/privacy/services/search
    1. Alternatively select the 3 dot ellipsus in the top right . . .
    2. Select ⚙️Settings
    3. Select Privacy, search, and services
    4. Select Search and connected experiences
    5. Select Address bar and search
  3. Under Search engine used in the address bar select the dropdown list
  4. Select Google UK or Bing or other providers
  5. Close the tab
