High Contrast Mode is an accessibility feature in Windows that makes certain screen elements darker and more distinguishable so that users with low vision can see everything.
How to toggle High Contrast Mode off and on
Keyboard Shortcut
Press the left Alt key + left Shift key + Print Screen (prt sc on some keyboards) to quickly turn high contrast mode on or off.
Windows Settings

Select the Start button > Settings > Ease of Access > High contrast
- Toggle Turn on high contrast

- Select the Start button > Settings > Accessibility > Contrast themes
- Select a contrast theme to enable or select None to turn off
