How do I combine multiple PowerPoint files into one file?

Method 1

  1. Open up both PowerPoint files side by side on your screen.
  2. Drag and drop slides from one file to another.
    1. The slides that are dragged over duplicate in the file you are copying them over to. This does not affect the slide in the original presentation.

Method 2

  1. Open the main PowerPoint.
  2. Click in the space in the slide side menu to mark the location where you want the slide/slides from the second PowerPoint to go.
  3. Select the Home tab on the ribbon.
  4. Select New Slide
  5. Select Reuse Slides
  6. A menu will appear on the upper right side of the PowerPoint file.
  7. Select Browse
  8. Locate and select the file you want to copy a slide from.
  9. The slides contained in that file will display in the Reuse Slides side window.
  10. Scroll down and select the PowerPoint slide you wish to use by clicking on it.
  11. You should now see the 2nd PowerPoint slide in the first PowerPoint file.

Note: Checking the box Keep source formatting at the top, below the File name will keep the second design theme when it is added to the main slide show. Leaving it unchecked will convert the second design theme to the main slide show design theme.
