How do I open a VTT / transcription file downloaded from Zoom or Microsoft Teams meetings?

The VTT format file is a simple text file you can open in Word or Notepad

1. Right click the file
2. Open with
3. Word / Notepad or choose another app > Word / Notepad
4. Choose 'Always' to always open this file type in Word

You can also open them from Word itself by going to:

1. Open
2. Change the file type to 'All Files' (bottom right)
3. Select the VTT file
