How do I transfer ownership of a Microsoft Form to multiple people?

When you create a Microsoft Form you are the owner of that form. Make somebody else an owner by moving the form to a shared group. All members of that group receive form notifications.

Warning: When leaving the organisation, Microsoft forms you created are deleted when your 365 account is removed. Please change ownership of any active forms before you leave.

You may wish to change ownership for various reasons such as:

  1. You are leaving your role or somebody else is taking over the administration of a form.
    1. Alternatively you can collaborate with a colleague without changing ownership. See:
Microsoft Forms: Share and collaborate >
  2. You wish for multiple people to receive notifications when a form entry has been submitted.

Note: If you don't have an appropriate group to move the form to, raise a support ticket and tell us who should be in the group.
