# I cannot add, remove or edit a shared or room calendar that I have permission for in Outlook Desktop

## Resolve this issue by restarting Outlook or removing and re-adding the calendar to your Outlook Desktop and checking permissions

1. Check you still have permission to [**view the calendar in Outlook on the Web** in an internet browser.](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/how-to-share-your-calendar-in-outlook#ow-cal-share-adding) 
     1. If you cannot view the calendar in the web version you do not have permission. Please ask the owner of the calendar to give you permission. 
            1. Forward colleagues a link to:

            2. Room calendars are managed by the IT Team, please raise a support ticket for these.
2. Close Outlook and re-open. Check if your permission has returned. If not, go to the next step.
