How to Transfer calls with ring back in Microsoft Teams and Teams Phone Mobile

Transfer a call
- In an active call select Transfer.
- Select the transfer method:
- Transfer = Transfer the call directly without consulting.
- Consult then transfer = Talk to the person you wish to transfer the call to before transferring.
- Wait a few seconds for the Transfer the call / Choose a person to consult window to appear.
- Type in the person's name you wish to transfer the call to.
- If the person is external, ie. does not have a diocesan account, enter their phone number instead.

- For direct transfers optionally enable Ring back if there's no answer.
- For consulting transfers, choose the consulting method; Chat or select the arrow down:
- Chat lets you type a message in Teams Chat.
- Teams audio call lets you call them in Teams.
- Numbers displayed lets you call their other phone numbers
- Select Transfer when you are ready to transfer the call.
- For consulting transfers, if you don't want to transfer the call after consulting, select Leave then Resume in the original call window.
