Receive, change or stop notifications of chat messages by email when you're not available in Microsoft Teams
If you are offline or unavailable in Microsoft Teams when a chat message is sent to you, an email notification is sent from noreply@emeaemail.teams.microsoft.com by default
Change your Microsoft Teams missed activity emails
- In Microsoft Teams select the 3 dots . . . menu in the top right
- Select Settings
- Select Notifications and activity
- Scroll down on the right to Missed activity emails
- Select your desired notification setting
- Once selected the setting saves straight away
Reply Error "Recipient's mailbox is full"
Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
[sender]... in Teams (noreply@emeaemail.teams.microsoft.com)
The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now. Please try resending your message later, or contact the recipient directly
When replying to a Teams email notification by email in Outlook, by default the email address you are replying to will be noreply@emeaemail.teams.microsoft.com, not the sender who sent the message.
If you send to noreply@emeaemail.teams.microsoft.com you will receive a bounce back message saying the mailbox is full.
Instead, change the reply address to the sender's or reply back in Microsoft Teams Chat.
