      Teams Training: Share Screen or Presentation & Shared Display Mode

      Share your screen, a single window or a powerpoint presentation with sound in a Microsoft Teams meeting

      1. In a Microsoft Teams meeting, select the Share button

      2. If required, select Include sound

      3. Presenter mode = optionally show your camera feed in front of what you are sharing

      4. Select what you wish to share:

        1. Screen = Duplicate your screen to show everything.

          1. If you have multiple monitors, choose which monitor you wish to show

        2. Window = Select and show a single open app

        3. PowerPoint Live = Select and show a single PowerPoint file

        4. Microsoft Whiteboard = Start an interactive whiteboard
        5. Excel Live = Share a workbook for everyone to work on together

      Shared Display Mode for dual-monitor displays

      The shared display mode provides you the ability to extend your Teams meeting via a pop-out and view-only version.

      In a meeting, you can use the View menu to add a shared display. This activates shared display mode.

      The view switcher, denoted by the "View" button in the Teams meeting menu bar, contains an option to add a shared display mode under the "More Options" sub menu.
