Use Apple's Voice Memos app or the dictate tool in the Microsoft 365 app to record audio and save to your OneDrive or share with colleagues
Voice Memos app
- Open the Voice Memos app on your diocesan iPhone or iPad.
- Make an audio recording.
- Select the audio recording you made.
- Select the 3 dots . . .
- Select Share.
- Select the OneDrive app.
- Alternatively you could share it via Microsoft Teams or by email using Outlook.
- Choose the location you'd like to save the audio file.
- Select Upload to OneDrive.
Microsoft 365 app

- Open the Microsoft 365 app on your diocesan iPhone or iPad.If it is not listed go to the Company Portal app to install.
- Sign in with your diocesan Microsoft 365 credentials if requested.
- Select Capture in the bottom menu.
Scroll down and select Dictate.
- Tap the microphone icon to start recording your voice memo.
- If requested, allow Microsoft 365 to access the microphone.
- Tap the microphone to pause or stop the recording.
- Select Finish to save the file.
- Open the new file listed under Recent.
- Select Upload to upload the transcription to OneDrive
- To upload the audio file to OneDrive, select Share.
- Enter a name.
- Select OneDrive - St Albans Diocese under location.
- Select Upload.
