An iPhone or iPad Microsoft app keeps closing with error "Org Data Removal..."

Resolve restart loop with message "Org Data Removal – Your organization has removed its data associated with this app. (607) To continue you must restart this app. To reconnect to your organization, sign-in to your work or school account."

This message is expected when manually signing out of a Microsoft app.

If however you see this message multiple times and the app will no longer open please resolve clearing the credentials on the affected device:

  1. On the iPhone or iPad, open to the Settings app

  2. Scroll down and select Apps

  3. Select the affected Microsoft app
  4. Select Reset [app name]

  5. Enable Delete Sign-In Credentials

  6. Restart app
