Can I access my diocesan account and will my diocesan SIM card work abroad?

You will need to let the IT Team know if you are travelling outside the UK before you leave.

By default your emails and files and will not be accessible outside of the UK for security reasons. SIM cards may or may not work depending on the network you're on and where you're travelling to.

If you are travelling outside the UK and need access to your diocesan accounts and/or devices while you are away please notify the IT Team by raising a support ticket at least 24 hours before departure (choose 'Travelling Abroad'). We will then be able to provide you with appropriate access and information about your SIM card if applicable.


Outside the EU

Outside the EU, purchasing a local SIM card is usually cheaper that paying for addons. Our mobile phones are unlocked so can use any mobile network provider.
