Changes to Zoom licenses from March 2025
Terminating Diocesan Zoom Licenses
From March 2025, we will no longer be providing Zoom licenses as part of our efforts to manage costs more effectively. Since Microsoft Teams offers comparable features for video calls and online meetings, we kindly ask that you use Microsoft Teams instead and refrain from creating personal Zoom accounts to keep our data secure.
Can I still host, start or schedule a new meeting?
This will no longer be possible. Please use Microsoft Teams for all meetings from now on.
Can I still join other meetings hosted by other organisations or external individuals?
Yes, you can still join meetings with your diocesan zoom account. Select Join button in Zoom or the meeting link provided.
