How do I install the Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2 apps on my diocesan Windows computer or iPad and sign in with my diocesan Canva account?

Affinity's professional design software is available for free to anyone with a verified Canva for Nonprofits account.

Note: The Affinity apps are available for diocesan Canva Users. If you do not have a diocesan Canva account, please raise a support ticket.

The apps Affinity Designer 2, Affinity Photo 2 and Affinity Publisher 2 are available to install on Windows computers and iPads (not iPhones).

  1. On your Windows computer or iPad open the Company Portal app.
    1. In Windows select the start button windows-icon-32-png, type Company Portal and select
  2.  In the Company Portal app go to Apps (Windows) or View all apps (iPad)
  3. Search for Affinity
    1. If you don't see them listed then it's likely that you are not a diocesan Canva user. please raise a support ticket.
  4. Select the app you wish to install. Apps available are:
    1. Affinity Photo 2
      1. Edit and retouch photos on their own or as part of multi-layered photo compositions and photo art.
    2. Affinity Designer 2
      1. Create illustrations, logos, graphics, concept art and other vector designs.
    3. Affinity Publisher 2
      1. Layout images, graphics and text to produce digital and print publications.
  5. Select Install
  6. Once installed, open the app.
  7. Select Sign in with Canva
  8. Select Sign in with Canva again.
  9. A web browser will open.
  10. Sign in with your diocesan Canva account (same as your diocesan Microsoft 365 / computer account email, password and MFA method).
  11. Select Allow to allow Affinity to access your Canva account.
  12. Select Open in the pop-up box asking you to open the Affinity app.
  13. Back in the Affinity app, select Launch Affinity Photo
