How do I setup MFA for my Microsoft 365 account?
Setup multi-factor authentication methods with the Microsoft Authenticator app

Warning: Text message codes and phone call authentication methods have been removed as an option because they are not as secure.
MFA Method: Microsoft Authenticator App
Note: The Microsoft Authenticator app is pre-installed on diocesan mobile devices. If missing, re-install from the Company Portal app.
On personal devices, the Microsoft Authenticator app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store on iPhones and iPads or from the Google Play Store for Android devices.
Other authenticator apps can be used instead, eg. Google and Oracle (desktop) Authenticator.
