# Teams Training: Screen Recording Video Making

## How do I make a video recording my screen and showing myself in the video?

1. In Microsoft Teams start a meeting by yourself:
   
     1. Open Microsoft Teams \> **Calendar** tab \> select **Meet now**
2. **[Share screen \>](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/teams-training-screen-share?hsLang=en)**
3. **[Start recording \>](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/microsoft-teams-recording-meetings?hsLang=en)**
4. **[Automatic transcription tutorial \>](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/teams-training-transcriptions?hsLang=en)**
5. Leave the meeting once you have finished.

#### Post recording

- Your meeting and video will appear in your **Chat** tab.
- Your video file will be stored in your **OneDrive** \> **Recordings** folder.
- Edit your video using **[Microsoft Clipchamp \>](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/video-editing-clipchamp?hsLang=en)**

#### Share recording

- Store the finished file in your OneDrive or move to SharePoint
- Share the video by creating and sending a **[share link \>](https://help.stalbansdiocese.org/how-do-i-share-a-file-or-folder-on-sharepoint-and-onedrive-to-a-colleague-or-external-user?hsLang=en)**

> You can use Microsoft Teams to record yourself, along with content, and make a video to post to YouTube, or anywhere else! You could record your screen content, a PowerPoint, or anything else from your computer.
